Inside the same block, click Add new question to add the question(s) you are interested in timing. To keep track of the time spent on a particular question or on a set of questions, you will need to isolate the timing question on the same page as the questions of interest. If counting down, you can choose the number it counts down from. You can then determine whether the timer counts up or counts down. With this option, a timer is displayed to respondents to help them know how long they are spending on that page of the survey. When disabled, respondents may take as long on the page as they like. This counter resets if the respondent exits and reopens the survey or navigates to a different page and then returns to this page. Paste your expression code (seen below) into the code editor area. Hold down the ‘Alt’ key, and click on the stopwatch next to the ‘Text Source’ property. Create a new After Effects composition, matching the exact duration of your countdown timer. After enabling this option, an Auto-advance after (seconds) option will appear where you can determine how long the respondent can spend on the page before it auto advances. How to Create a After Effects Expression. You can use this option to automatically move respondents to the next page of the survey after a certain number of seconds. When disabled, the next button is displayed to the respondent, allowing them to continue the survey as they please. After enabling this option, a Display “submit” after (seconds) option will appear where you can determine how long a respondent must be on a page before the next button appears. You can use this option to hide the next button for a certain number of seconds, preventing respondents from progressing through the survey. In addition to recording these counts, the following options are available in the question editing pane. Their recorded Page Submit time will be 50 seconds. For example, let’s say a respondent submits a page after 20 seconds, goes back to that page using the back button, and then submits the page again after 30 seconds. ![]() Content-aware fill.Qtip: These metrics will be additive if the respondent is viewing the page multiple times, either through the use of a back button or by exiting and reopening the survey.Expressions with essential properties not working by Michael Mathes Adobe After Effects Expressions.Graham Quince on Natural Page Peel Effect on Photos Adobe After Effects.Dan Ebberts on Most efficient way of injecting line breaks Adobe After Effects Expressions.Edward Clayton on Most efficient way of injecting line breaks Adobe After Effects Expressions.Doug Metz on Help! I only want 3 digits and 1 decimal place at all times. Problem is I get stuff like 4.845 at 1 second down the timeline. I’ve tried all the counter + timecode effects in AE and a couple of Dan Ebbert’s scripts, but the problem I’m having is that I can’t get it to stop on a certain millisecond, due to the 25fps thing.Ĭlosest I’ve got to what I want is a simple slider attached to source text and I type 0.00 at start of timeline and then a KF with 9.69 at 2 seconds. I want to be able to manipulate how long it does that over – eg: 2 seconds to count up. What I want to do with a text layer is have a 3 digit timer count from 0.00 > 9.69 (secs+hundredths) This may be really simple, but I’m not an expressions guru…
